In App Message Notifications
Every project in SiteCapture has a Project Chat Channel, everyone in this channel receives notifications when a message is posted in the Project Chat. This Channel is created the first time a user sends a message in the Project Chat. At that time, everyone who has been assigned or shared to the project is added to the Project Chat Channel, this includes:
- Assigned User
- Assigned Manager
- Any "Share" Users
Additional users can be added to the Project Chat Channel in 2 ways:
1. Any admin user can click into any Project Chat they want to, this will add them to the channel.
2. Non-admin users who get the project shared to them will be added to the channel when a new chat session is started.
Please note: adding a user to a project does not immediately add that user to the Project Chat Channel. You may see a delay in receiving notifications when users are first added.
