Creating, Editing & Deleting Types

Creating Types

1. Click on Admin>Types. If you do not see Types in your admin menu please email support@sitecapture.com or contact your Customer Success Manager.

3. Click "Create New Type" on the top right corner of the page

4. Name the new Type and click Create. If you want to create a new view for this Type check the box.

5. Drag and Drop the Type: hover to the left of the name until you see the dots and drag the type up and down to where you want it to be placed.

 

Editing and Deleting Types

1. Go to Admin>Types and click the edit icon next to the Type you want to edit. If you do not see Types in your admin menu please email support@sitecapture.com or contact your Customer Success Manager.

2. If you want to disable the type uncheck "Enable".  Click "Close" when done.

3. If you wish to delete the Type click on Delete at the bottom of the box. Note: You will need to archive and permanently delete any work associated with that type and ensure there are no templates associated with that type. If you need assistance permanently deleting work and/or templates please email support@sitecapture.com or your Customer Success Manager.

Add and remove types from a Container

Admins can add and remove types from containers.

1. Go to the admin menu by clicking the gear in the top right corner of the web app. Click on Types. Click on the type and select the container by checking the box "Add type under..." and click Save Changes.

2. To remove a type from a container, select the type you want to remove and then check the box "Remove type from under ..." Click "Save Changes" when done.
