Users can record videos directly in the iOS app if the feature is turned on. Portal Admins will need to allow videos in the template editor for users to see this feature.
1. Tap on the camera/video icon on a field. If a field allows video, you will see the icon of a camera and video camera. If a field does not allow video, you will only see an icon of a camera. .
2. The camera opens and tap the “Video” button to switch to video capture mode.
3. Tap the red record button to take video. Tap the record button again to stop recording. If a maximum length for the video is set, then the video will stop recording when the time limit is met.
4. When the video stops recording, you have the option to save this video, or discard the video.
5. If you choose to save the video, you will see a green checkmark to let you know it has saved. You have the option to take another video, switch back to photo taking or click "Done" to exit the camera and go back to the section view.
6. In the section view you can see the thumbnails for the videos that were taken and videos have the play icon on them. Tap on the video icon to play back the video.
7. The video will open and tap on the play icon. You will see options to mute the audio (top right icon), pause the video, airplay (top left icon), and set the playback speed (bottom right 3 dots).
8. To change the playback speed, tap the 3 dots in the bottom right and tap on the speed to play to video back.
9. If you want to save the video to your device, tap on the download icon. The video will download and you get a verification that the video has been saved. You can go to your device's camera roll to see the video.
10. To delete the video, long press on the video thumbnail and the red delete icon will appear. Tap on the delete icon to delete the video.
