iOS: Mobile Device Authorization

To enhance security and improve user experience, SiteCapture has implemented Multi-factor Authentication through mobile device authorization as part of a broader initiative to protect customer data and prevent unauthorized account sharing. Account sharing can introduce security risks, cause performance inefficiencies, and violate SiteCapture’s Terms of Service.

By ensuring that each user has a dedicated, unique login, Mobile Device Authorization helps maintain data integrity, reduces syncing issues, and improves overall platform reliability. This update aligns with industry best practices and reinforces SiteCapture’s commitment to providing a secure and seamless experience for all users.

Please note: When this feature is fully rolled out, each username will only be allowed to have 3 registered devices at a time. Registering a new device will require receiving a code via email and submitting it in the mobile app. If there are already 3 devices registered, the new one will replace the oldest (earliest-registered) device.

1. When the user taps on "Continue" button, the server will send a code to the user's email address.

4. If you lose your code or need a new code, tap on the "Resend Code" button to request for the code again. A message will pop up verifying the "Code was resent to your email". Note that the code is valid for 1-hour.
