A new service category filtering option is now available to help streamline item selection by organizing services into categories.
🔧 Feature Overview
- This feature is controlled by a feature switch.
- By default, it is OFF.
- When OFF, the service selection behaves as it did in version 5.9.3.
- If you'd like to enable it for your account, please contact support@sitecapture.com to request activation.
✅ When the Feature is ON
Users will be able to browse and select service items by category.
Steps to Use:
1. SiteCapture enables the feature switch.
2. Mobile user taps Refresh Configuration in the mobile app under Settings.
3. Mobile user creates a new item in a project.
4. The service selection screen will now display the category filter. Users can either view all available services or select a specific category to see services grouped accordingly. Users can search by Category in the search bar. The category is also displayed below the service name.
5. Search Within a Category: Refine results using keywords.
🗣 Optional: Voice Search Prompt
If using voice search, users will see a permission prompt after tapping on the microphone. Tap "Allow" to access speech recognition.
