Managing the From Email, Reply-To Email and Sender Name in Email Notifications

SiteCapture portal admins can turn ON and customize email notifications and set who those emails come from. Learn more here.

The following describes how the FROM email, REPLY-TO email and SENDER NAME on emails notifications sent from SiteCapture are determined.

1. The FROM (email) is always do-not-reply@sitecapture.com. This cannot be changed.

2. The REPLY-TO is taken from the microsite's setting for "Sender's reply-to email address". 

This can be set by a portal admin by clicking on the gear in the top right corner and clicking on settings. Scroll down to Notifications and enter the reply-to email and save changes.

If that is blank, SiteCapture will use the email of the user who created the project.

3. The SENDER NAME is taken from the microsite setting for "Sender name". This can be set by a portal admin by clicking on the gear in the top right corner and clicking on settings. Scroll down to Notifications and enter the Sender email and save changes.

If that setting is left blank,  then the sender name ends up blank (it is not required in an email.)
