iOS App: Viewing AI Image Validations

View & Resolve AI Image Validation Results On-Site

The AI Image Validation feature helps you catch and fix photo issues before leaving the job site. When enabled, you can see failed validations directly in the mobile app and resolve them immediately.

⚙️ Before You Begin

✅ iOS App version 7.2.0 should be downloaded to use this feature. The feature switch must be enabled in your site. Please contact SiteCapture Support for assistance.

How It Works

1️⃣ Complete & Sync Your Project

1. Finish your project.
2. Set the project status.
3. Tap Sync.

🔄 When you sync again, AI validation results will begin pulling in as they are processed.

2️⃣ Track AI Workflow Status

In both Project View and List View, you’ll see the AI workflow status:

• 🟡 AI Analysis In Progress – AI validations are still running.

          

• ✅ When the analysis is done, users will see Passed or Failed Validations

📊 What You’ll See in Project View

Workflow Status Indicator

Once AI begins processing:

• You’ll see the workflow marked In Progress
• When finished, it updates to Passed or Failed Validations

🔴 Failed Validation Count

When the workflow is Complete:

• 🔴 If there are failed validations → The number appears highlighted in red

• ⚪ If there are no failed validations → "Validations Passed"

📁 Section-Level Indicators

Inside the project:

• Sections with validation results show an indicator.
• This appears even if the workflow is still In Progress.

This lets you know which sections already have AI feedback available.

🔎 Drill Down to Fix Issues

1️⃣ Open a Section

Tap into a section to:

• See which fields contain photos with failed validations. 

       

2️⃣ Identify Problem Photos

Within the section:

• 📸 Thumbnails of photos with failed validations are clearly marked with a red triangle.
• You can quickly identify which images need attention.

3️⃣ View Validation Message

Tap the flagged photo thumbnail to:

• See the detailed AI validation message.
• Understand what needs to be corrected.

       

🛠 Fix the issue, retake the photo if needed, and sync again.

📋 List View Experience

In List View, you can also monitor AI results across projects:

Workflow Status

Each project displays:

• 🟡 In Progress

🔢 Failed Validation Count (When Complete)

• 🔴 Red highlight → Failed validations exist
• ⚪ Neutral highlight → No failed validations

        

This makes it easy to scan multiple projects quickly.

✅ Best Practice: Review Before You Leave

To avoid return visits:

1. 📶 Sync your project on-site.
2. ⏳ Wait for AI to complete (if possible).
3. 🔴 Review and fix any failed validations.
4. 🔄 Sync again after corrections.
