Resolve a Failed Validation

This feature is only available to Portal Admins and Managers. If a field user resolved the issue that caused a validation to fail, admins can now manually resolve it so it no longer appears as Failed. Follow the steps below to update the validation status.

📌 When Can You Resolve a Validation?

You’ll see the Edit button when a validation status is:

  • Failed
  • Resolved

🔄 Steps to Resolve a Failed Validation

1️⃣ Click the Edit Button

Locate the failed validation and click the Edit button next to it.

2️⃣ Set Status to Resolved

A pop-up window (modal) will appear allowing you to update the validation status.

  • Change the validation status to Resolved

3️⃣ Enter a Required Comment ✍️

You must enter a comment explaining:

  • What was fixed
  • Why the validation is being resolved

4️⃣ Click Save

Once you've added your comment:

  • Click Save to confirm.

What Happens Next?

  • The validation will no longer display as Failed
  • It will now reflect as Resolved
  • Your comment will be saved as part of the validation history
