Completing & Syncing Work
• As you are completing your work on mobile, it will sync the data for your team to be able to view. This can only happen when you have data or a Wi-Fi connection.

• A sync icon will also appear on the project to inform you of the status.
NOTE: Depending on your company's settings, the project may disappear after setting the status to Complete and syncing. This means that the sync has finished and the project data has been sent back to your administrator.
For more information on Syncing, see the following guides:
Syncing, Sync Status Screen, and Sync Settings
iOS: How to Sync & Sync Status Settings
Android: How to Sync & Check Sync Status
▸ Issues Syncing?
If you are having trouble syncing, see the following guides for troubleshooting steps and how to contact SiteCapture support:
Best Practices (Do Not Skip)
1. Take photos directly in the SiteCapture app
This ensures you’re capturing the resolution required and set by the company assigning the work to you.
2. Make sure your work fully syncs
Leaving work unsynced can result in losing your photos and having to redo work.
▸ How do I Make Sure I'm Fully Synced?
We recommend leaving the SiteCapture app open while syncing for a few minutes at the start and end of your day to ensure your projects have had time to fully sync.
Do not log out, uninstall the app, or restart your device until you are fully synced. as this may cause data/photo loss and this data or media will not be recoverable.
Keep your app open and the screen turned on while syncing, accessing another app or your phone going to sleep will result in the sync being paused.
We recommend syncing over a Wi-Fi connection when you can.
3. Make Sure to Set the Project Status When Done
Failing to set the project status can result in projects piling up in your list, which may result in future issues.
