The Video Item Extraction task allows you to automatically extract items from videos and organize them into structured entries within your template. By configuring this task, you define where videos are sourced from and how extracted data is stored.

3. Enter a name for the task
- Default: Video Item Extraction
4. Select the field key that contains the video to process
- Example: video
The Field Key is a unique identifier for each field within a template. The field key can be found within the template configuration (see: Adding & Editing Fields: Field Key), or by hovering over the field name in the project page (see: Field Information: Field Key and Last Updated). Field keys are case sensitive and must match exactly in any use case.
5. Select the field group key where extracted items will be added
- Example: items
6. Configure field mappings for extracted data
- Location → eg. issue_location
- Issue → eg. issue_description
- Subject → eg. issue_name
7. Save the task configuration
8. Run the workflow to process videos and generate items
🧩 Mapping Extracted Item Data to Fields (Version 2)
Video Item Extraction can map the data it extracts for each item to fields in your template. For each item, you can map:
- Service Key — the identifier of the extracted item or service
- Quantity — the quantity detected for the item
- Cost — the cost associated with the item
- Image URL — an image of the item captured from the video
When choosing fields for these mappings, the field picker only shows fields that belong to the field group you specified for the task. For the Image URL mapping, the picker is further limited to fields in that group that allow photos.
