Getting Started with SiteCaptureAI

SiteCaptureAI adds automated quality control and data extraction to your projects, catching issues as work is submitted. This article gives an overview of each SiteCaptureAI feature with links to our documentation.

What is SiteCaptureAI?

SiteCaptureAI can run Quality Control checks and extract information from your projects as they are completed by the field crew. These checks and extractions are grouped and run together in what is called a workflow.

Workflows

A set of tasks are defined in a workflow that is typically configured for a specific template. Once a workflow is configured, it can be run automatically based on Status, or manually on an individual project.

Running an AI Workflow

Tasks

SiteCaptureAI offers a suite of tasks for common quality control checks, such as ensuring images are clear and taken at the correct location.

Each Task and What They Accomplish

To run a task, it must be included in a Workflow.

Viewing AI Results

On the Web App

After a workflow is run on a project, the results of the task can be seen on each image. Results are specific to the task that was run. For an Image Correctness Task, the results will inform you if the image passed or failed the validation requirements, or if the results were inconclusive.

Viewing AI Results on Web

On Mobile

If allowed, mobile users will see which images failed the validation requirements from the Image Validation task so that they can re-take any necessary photos while on the Job Site.

How Will I be Billed?

SiteCaptureAI is billed based on usage of tokens. Each task uses a certain amount of tokens every time it is run in a workflow. Your agreement defines how many tokens are included per month, and how much you are billed for each token over the included amount.

FAQ

Do I need to include a Task in a Workflow to run it?

Yes. Tasks don't run on their own, they are grouped together in a Workflow.

Will updating my template affect my AI Workflow?

It can, if field keys change. Workflows are built to closely match your templates, so it's important to keep field keys consistent. For any significant template update, reach out to your Customer Success Manager, Solutions Engineer, or support@sitecapture.com so your workflows aren't affected.

How is SiteCaptureAI billed?

Based on token usage. Each task uses a set amount of tokens every time it runs in a workflow, and your agreement sets how many tokens are included per month and the rate for anything over that.
